2 steps to quickly see who is following you back on Twitter

Share

I know that there are many Twitter tools, some free and some paid, to do many things.  However, if you are just looking to see which of the people you follow are following you back, there is an easy way to find out right from your Twitter following list.

  1. Log into your account and click on where it shows the number of people you are following.
  2. Click on the actions button (looks like a little gear) to the right of a person’s name.  A list of actions will drop down.  If you see an envelope icon with the words “Direct Message” followed by the person’s name, that means they are following you back.

To see who stops following you, use Qwitter. It is a free tool and it sends you an email whenever someone quits following you.
